Viktor opens the car doors for his family and begins unpacking the luggage. They drove their brood down the road and would need to return the car home before their Uber to the airport arrives. He waves to the Mohrens as they open the front door.

Bryan stands in the doorway with Lucille, waving to the Kaehills. "Hey!" he calls. "Everybody got everything?"

"I think so," says Yuri.
"We'd better," Hadassah adds. "I don't want to have to go back into the empty house. What about you, Julian? Did you get everything?"

Viktor scoffs. "Yeah, we have EVERYTHING!"
Julian grabs his suitcase and his sister's and carries them toward the house. He blushes when he sees the gaggle of girls peering through the front window.

Bryan comes down the stairs. "Need any help?" he asks, glancing at the window. As he does, the girls in the window duck, giggling. "Ignore them," he chuckles. "They're not used to having guests who aren't their cousins from next door."

Hadassah rolls her eyes a little, not really understanding why these girls are making Julian blush. But she is curious about them herself. "Hi. Why are you looking at my brother like that?" She had been confused by the lady at school staring at Julian, too, but these are kids close to her own age.

Willow and Jenna have joined their dad outside, whispering and giggking to each other. Hearing the question, Willow looks up. "Like what?" she asks, innocently.

"Like...I don't know. But it's like the way my mommy and daddy look at each other. Sort of." That's the only way Hadassah can think of to explain it. She still thinks all the mushy stuff is weird.

Jenna and Willow look at each other and wrinkle their noses. "Ewww!" Jenna squeals. "Gross!"

Julian ducks past the drama and follows instructions where to put the luggage.
"Okay, Buddy?" Viktor asks when they have a bit of space. "Remember to be a gentleman and a good guest, okay?"
Julian nods.

"I know, right? I'm not ready for all that stuff yet." Hadassah grimaces. She goes to put her luggage away, then comes back to her parents for one last hug, as does Yuri.

"Me either!" Willow smirks at Jenna and Hadassah. "But I know that my older siblings are!" She lowers her voice. "I've seen Kailey and Brileigh and Carter and Avery making faces at people."
"Ooooh!" Jenna gasps.
Having shown Viktor and Julian in, Bryan smiles at the boy. "Don't worry, you'll have fun. Like I said, the kids aren't used to guests around the house."

Viktor gives his daughter a grateful pat, glad she owns her naivety. He is suddenly a little nervous what he is going to come home to in two weeks. Hadassah has spent her life with boys. This gaggle of girls seems troublesome.

Hadassah is completely unaware of her dad's thoughts. She thinks Jenna and Willow are fun, mow that they're not looking at Julian. "They're in fifth and sixth grade, right?" Hadassah doubts she will be ready then, either. She shakes her head at Viktor as if to tell him not to worry. Maybe when she's fifteen or so... but not until then.
"I love you Daddy," she whispers before going back to the conversation.

"Kailey and Carter are older'n that!" Willow giggles. "They're gonna be in high school this year!"
"And Avery and Brileigh are gonna be in eighth grade," Jenna chimes in.
"And that means that we--" Willow points to herself and her twin. "--are gonna be in fourth grade."
"And Veni and Vivi are gonna be in second--"
"--and Lloyd's gonna be in first--"
"--and Bentley's--"
"Too young! He's only four," Willow explains matter-of-factly.

"Yuri's gonna be in third and we'll be in fifth." It doesn't always make sense to Hadassah, but that's the way it is. "Wait, though, aren't you guys like a week older than us? Our birthday is the 16th of January."

(OOC: I realize the kids are staying with Dax Shepherd and Kristen Bell. Lucky kids! LOL )
Viktor overhears the rundown of the children's ages and keeps his jaw from dropping. "Are you sure you're up for taking three more?" Lucille's protruding belly hadn't escaped him, either. He's surrounded by pregnant women.
Julian notices an older boy with his nose in a book. He silently approaches, seeing it is a video game manual. "I play that game, too," he comments. He figures this is Carter, since the other brothers listed are younger.

Isis grins sheepishly. "I'm not sure I quite thought it through. I remember how tired the twins made me!" The truth was, at the time they had been discussing who would watch the kids, she'd still been feeling a little freaked out by that strange vehicle in the school parking lot. It doesn't bother her so much now, but truthfully she is still glad Lucille is the police chief's sister. It makes her feel doubly safe leaving the kids with them. "I'm glad I only have one in there this time," Isis adds. Or does she? She knows a lot of women tend to show sooner with each pregnancy.
"Aunt Lyn's gonna have twins, too," Yuri says, deciding between reading a book or kicking around his soccer ball.
Isis chuckles. "We don't know that."
"You had twins. Gigi Susan had twins. And Aunt Lyn's belly is huge!"
Isis shakes her head, deciding to leave the part about which side of the family Shalyn, her father's sister, is on for later. Besides, he has a point about her belly, though Isis would never admit it aloud being pregnant herself.

"We are up for taking on three more. We have Jasmine and Tyler's three a lot plus thanks to Bentley becoming attached to Brianna's four and three soon to be step kids we always have a houseful." Lucille says.

"Honestly, we're much more used to having a full house than not," Bryan chuckles. "And I don't think either of us would have it any other way. Sure, it gets to be a lot sometimes, but you gotta enjoy the little things. Or the little people. Right?"
Carter looks up. "Oh. Hi," he says. "I've already read through it. Just trying to see if I missed something. Me and Avery got stuck so..."

Julian adjusts his glasses. He is still getting used to having to wear them all the time. He finds a seat near Carter. "Do you get to use the headphones to talk to people? I always wanted to try that."
After more pleasantries, Viktor finds a way to politely usher his wife out. "We can't thank you enough. If we can ever help you, please let us know. We can be reached by email. I think Isis already sent you our email addresses and phone numbers for my relatives in Russia? Calling is tricky internationally, but it's there just in case. Our Uber will be at our house soon."

"I... don't really like talking to people much," Carter admits. "That's more Avery's thing than mine."
"Of course," Bryan says. "Don't want to keep your Uber waiting. I know they're liable to drive off if you aren't at the pickup in time."

Isis forgot that little detail. "Yikes! We'd better go." With a last wave to the kids, she leaves.
Hadassah is curious. "Umm, I hate to ruin this talk, but do you guys have rules we don't know about?" She means both house rules, and rules because there are so many kids. With only the three of the Kaehill children, plus another baby soon, Hadassah can't imagine having so many kids in one house.

"Does Avery play?" Julian asks Carter. "Maybe we could try it. We don't have a headset at my house. I think it would be fun to talk to other players. It's always just me."

"The main rules we have to follow are if we make a mess we have to clean it up, also no being mean to each other." Brileigh says as she and Avery come in to the room.
As Avery comes in he hears Julian and Carter's conversation. "I am always playing. I'm on level 86. I have a second head set that you could use if you want to."

Carter shrugs. "Avery's better at it than I am anyway," he says with a little sigh.
Kailey rolls her eyes, hearing her brother's comment. "That's just because you'd rather spend your time with your nose in a book instead."
