Hey, all! My name is Dixon Orpheus Powers (4/25/1984). I've been married to my wife, Odessa, for eight years. We met online, where she was able to hook me with just her personality. When we first met in person, I was a little shocked to see that she uses a wheelchair, but she explained everything to me. Within about six months after that first in person meeting, I proposed. We were married a year later and she relocated to my home city, where I worked for my dad's business. He has quite a bit of money, which I've inherited. It's been helpful to cover a lot of her medical bills while still allowing us to maintain a good quality of life.
And this is the lovely Odessa Love Powers (4/28/1988) herself [played by Josephine]! When she was a sophomore in high school, she was in a pretty gnarly snowmobile accident which left her paralyzed. She's used a wheelchair for mobility ever since. She is a fantastic mother to our three children, with number four on the way. I can't believe how lucky I am that she fell in love with me and wanted to be in my life!
Our oldest child is Georgia Sheridan Powers (3/3/2013). Georgia is a sweet girl, smart beyond belief, with a major attitude. She's a bit of a know-it-all and will correct you if something you do or say is wrong. She's a major daddy's girl, but loves to play with her younger brothers all the same. She isn't afraid to get dirty despite having a girly-girl side to her as well.
Damon Adonis Powers (6/4/2016) is our middle child and oldest son. He loves to play outside. His favorite activity is riding his bike. Though he still uses training wheels, he is gonna be off and riding by himself in no time. He's not afraid to get hurt and more often than not, you'll find him running around with a bandaid or two stuck to his knees, elbows, or face.
Finnick Prescott Powers (6/24/2017) is our current youngest. By far the shyest of the bunch, he sticks to his mother like glue. Odessa and I are afraid he's gonna have a rough time when the new baby comes, because then he'll be fighting for attention. I think that having a younger sibling, though, will teach him a lot.
I'm excited to start our new life here. Can't wait to get to know all of you!
