The Spearing Family, Audrey

Audrey Malia Spearing (3/24/2002) entered the foster system late in her life. When her mother passed away when she was thirteen, her dad became her sole guardian and he... lost it. With a history of alcoholism and drug abuse, losing his wife and raising his daughter by himself pushed him over the edge. He lost custody of Audrey when she was fifteen.

She went to one foster family, the McFarlands. When she realized how much she hated relying on them or anyone else, she asked Corinne to help her become emancipated. A couple months after her sixteenth birthday, she handed over her paperwork to the state. By the time she was seventeen, she was already far from the McFarlands.

However, recently, after her boyfriend moved here, she discovered that she could get a better job, find more affordable housing, and live closer to the only family she really has anymore if she moved. Besides, having gone the GED route instead of finishing high school, she's been looking into colleges and Cyberspace University caught her eye. And so she moved here, living all on her own.
