Brenda pulls into the driveway of the house she shares with her dad, older brother, and younger half-siblings. Watching Brianna Callaghan park on the side of the street, she counts the heads of each child in her van as they pile out. "Jiana... Lav... Levi... Logie..." She pauses to help Annika out of her carseat. "And little Annika."
Brenda waves to Brianna as she heads inside. Logan waits at the door for them to join her, dancing around in her excitement. Brenda sets Annika down and the little girl toddles off. "Welcome to the house!" she greets Brianna and her kids.

Brianna gets her four out. She lets them run ahead to their friends. "Thanks." she says s they follow her inside.

"Anything for the mother of the new friends of my youngest siblings," Brenda laughs, more at the statement than anything else. "Whew, that is quite the mouthful."
She closes the door behind them and leads Brianna into the living room where the kids are all playing. Logan has dragged out a box full of dolls and trucks and everything in between, distributing them evenly among her siblings and her new friends.
"Dad, you home?" Brenda calls.
Eric's voice responds from one of the upstairs rooms. "Just finishing up something here, Bren. I'll be down in a minute."
"Sorry. He seems to be constantly busy with something. Though I think that must be a family trait because so are the rest of my siblings," she jokes, offering Brianna a seat on the couch. "Did you want anything to drink?"

Logan takes her baby doll and races across the living room. "Guys! It's Super Baby!" she exclaims. "All your toys need me to save 'em!"
"I'll be right back with that," Brenda says with a smile as she heads into the kitchen. She passes her dad on the way in, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Spotting an unfamiliar woman on the couch, he introduces himself, "I'm Eric. You must be the mother of the little rascals." He takes a seat beside her, offering her his hand.

Kaisey was the first to jump up and try and save her. Her siblings soon follow.
"That I am."she says shaking his hand. "I'm Ch... Sorry it's Brianna." She started to give her title more so she could push her nervousness away. She couldn't help but think that he was good looking.

Logan stops in her tracks as her new friends pop up. "No! You guys need saving!" she whines. "Super Baby's the hero!"
Eric raises an eyebrow. "Ch'Brianna. Unusual name," he jokes, winking at her. When a woman sits in front of you looking like Brianna, there's no way you don't notice it. And Eric definitely notices it, though he has some reservations. His wife has only been gone a few years. Plus, this woman looks old enough to be his daughter. What would people think? What would his own children think? "It's lovely to meet you."

"oops."Leah says before she makes hertoy stuck. Her siblings do the same.
"Yea. I was going to say Chief Callaghan however I decided not to." She says. "Easiest way to not let my nerves get the better of me is work mode."

Logan grins. "Does somebody wanna be the bad guy?" she asks. Both Levi and Lavender shake their heads.
"Ah. Chief Callaghan. No need to be nervous. We're all friends in this house," Eric chuckles.

Logan nods quickly and giggles, thinking they're just playing along. She zooms her dolly over the other toys as if it were flying in to save them.
Eric grins and chuckles. "Good. So, uh, Chief, what're you chief of?" he asks, trying to get to know her better.

"Bren-"
"Dad, stop worrying about her being so young! You're not exactly getting any younger yourself. And I mean, I know Lyra just passed a couple years ago, but I also know that look. And I know you'll always love Lyra in a very special way. I'm sure she'd want you to move on if you're ready."
