Anyone have any characters who are wavering between religions (or religion and no religion?) Kai, Cass and Fiona, and Aurora would probably have the most problems with this.
Kai became Catholic after he met Victoria, but considering he doesn't know where she went yet, his faith is wavering.
Cass and Fiona used to be atheists, and struggled with faith at all greatly because of Fiona being born with no eggs to carry children, but watching Celine and Theo deal with two miscarriages as bravely as they can while clinging to their faith has brought them an odd kind of comfort they probably couldn't have gained any other way than watching them, and they've since accepted Christ and joined BG Christian. But they would be good to talk to for anyone dealing with a faith struggle.
Aurora is confused about the whole thing, because Aunt Claire, Uncle Joaquin, and Aunt Carmen were raised Catholics and Aunt Celine was originally raised Orthodox, but she still remembers going to synagogue with Eli and Asriel and the community she felt there, even though it was a long time ago. Her heart will always be close to Judaism, but she isn't quite sure she wants to convert. Plus, she goes to church with her grandparents sometimes and remembers hearing the Bible verse (I can't remember where it is at the moment) about for those who have not heard of Jesus their conscience is a law unto them, so she wonders why it even matters what religion a person is and thinks relationship (with people and actually caring about them and whatever deity or non-deity you choose) matters more.
