Finally, I have the time to sit down and do this. The years have brought so many changes to us Kaehills. In fact, I'd probably say we've grown and changed as much as Berkshire Glen itself has. Viktor and I have three kids now, and after our first three were born so close together, we've waited a while, but now think we might be ready for a fourth.
My name is Isis Lorelei Kaehill (nee Deschaine) (Played by Joelle). I was born June 27, 1988. I have a BS in High School Education and am working on my master's from home. Currently, I'm also a tutor at the library in addition to being a mom. The phrase BS means Bachelor of Science, but the students I help sometimes seem to think it means something else! Kids!
My wonderful husband Viktor Dmitry was born August 26, 1986. He was originally orphaned in a suburb outside of Moscow, Russia. He spent his first years in a children’s home before being adopted at age 4, then grew up in Tacoma, WA until moving to BG in 2007. Viktor met me in Berkshire Glen when I was pregnant with twins. He fell in love at first sight and took up the position of husband and father at a young age. After an apprenticeship as an architect with his father, Viktor decided to become a real estate agent and purchased a home for us in BG. He loves being a father and is often found joining the kids for playtime or being shadowed by the kids.
Julian Elijah (Elizabeth) and Hadassah "Haddie" Joy (Joelle) were born on January 16, 2010, shortly after Viktor and I met. Thankfully, they are still too young to know the horrific story of their birth, and though I've healed some from the experiences that came before it, (in no small part due to Viktor's support as well as counseling) I can't say it's something you easily forget.
Julian is the quieter twin. He loves anything to do with computers. Though I'm sure he would like to be able to do something more active as well as that, his interest has been somewhat influenced by the fact that he was diagnosed with asthma at an early age. He does well in school and seems to also enjoy reading. I sometimes worry about his eyes, with all the reading he does (on-screen and off).
Haddie is precocious, loud, and girly. She also loves art. More often than not, she's wearing or making something with flowers or feathers. She also likes drawing and painting. Although she can do well in school if she focuses, she is easily distracted unless she is doing art. I don't think the sitting still part of school matches with her learning style- but hey, what do I know? Despite my teacher training, I'm just her mother.
Yuri Jobe, (Joelle) our third child, was born on August 15, 2011. He just turned 5 and gets his thick hair from Viktor. He loves us both, but I think there's a slight partiality to his daddy, which doesn't bother me in the least.
So that's us- The Kaehills!
